Chef Loubet was very talented with great showman ship. His creation reflected his experiments as an inner child, loved his Chef uniform, and it was all about organics farming which he carried 28 kgs. with him this trip.
Not only organics farming he also brought us closer to nature with all his dishes, for example Rack of Lamb smoked with wild thyme that you could really smell it. One dish for the children who don't like vegie would be Bonnieux Carrots with Yarrow Chicken that he prepared hot and cold on the plate, this confirmed his inner child. The Eucalyptus ice cream was very interesting. Ended the night with Souffle scented with Cedar from the Luberon Hills to pair with Muscat de Beaumes de Venise had made my day.
Wines for the night was so.... so..., nothing much to say. Unfortunately, Chef Loubet didn't bring his own wines to pair with his dishes this time otherwise we would have had a real Rhone night!
Anyone would like to visit him in Provence can stay at Domaine de Capelongue, 4 stars Hotel with 2 star Michelin restaurant Chef. Tell him that you are from Bangkok and give him our best regards.
